Dr Nikolaos Mittas received his BSc degree in Mathematics from University of Crete, his Msc in Informatics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and his PhD in Informatics from Department of Informatics, AUTh. His doctoral dissertation has the title: “Statistical and Computational Methods for Development, Improvement and Comparison of Software Cost Estimation Models“. His research interests involve application of statistics, especially computational statistics, to cost estimation of software projects and generally to data from software projects. He teaches mathematics and statistics as a visiting assistant professor in Technological Educational Institute of Kavala.
